One of my favourite songs is Eyelids into Snow. I love the atmosphere it casts; the pictures it paints; the quality of a short story it has without losing any musical sophistication (- that’s no forced bridge just for sake of it, so it isn’t: that’s a subplot, a leath-taobh).
I’m really looking forward to seeing them live on Monday:
Sonny Condell, Philip King & Robbie Overson plus special guest, Eimear Quinn, at The Grand Social Monday 4th July, 8pm. Tickets now available from entertainment.ie
This rare Dublin performance co-incides with the release of their brand new single ‘Come Sunday Morning’ a taster from Scullion’s forthcoming new CD, due for release in September ’11 – their first in over 30 years!
